* Applied Project Management

Open Management Program
This program is aimed at businesses that want their project managers to have a standardized way of planning, executing, monitoring, reporting to management, and completing them. It's for businesses that want to be in control of their projects.
Businesses and organizations today, in the conditions of intense competition, are forced to operate flexibly and efficiently by taking on small or large projects, whether they call them that or not. It is also logical that the executives of the organization themselves, whether they are Project Managers or not, should, in addition to their other duties, effectively perform the role of Project Manager or team member of a project.

In this case, the need for a common language of communication, for simple and practical tools for planning, monitoring and coordinating the projects, so that they are always successful, on scope, on time, on budget, is strongly highlighted.

In order to achieve the above, a common standard, internationally accepted and tested, should be followed which, in its simplified form, will be the ‘guide’ in the planning, implementation, monitoring and completion of the projects.

GK (George Kyriakidis) seminars, having many years of training and consulting experience, has chosen as its model the PMBOK v.5 of the Project Management Institute (www.pmi.org) and has designed a special practical program for managers and executives who collaborate in projects or manage projects of small or large size entitled “Introduction to Project Management for Organizational Executives”.

Purpose of the Program
The purpose of this program is to shape the correct and common understanding of project management with the use of practical and internationally accepted tools (Project Manager’s Toolkit) and to effectively help the participants to organize their work by improving their own efficiency, as well as that of their team.

Program Goals

More specifically, upon completion of the program project management program participants will be able to:
• Understand Project Management based on international BestPractices and internationally accepted standards (Project Management Institute
• Recognize the needs of those involved (Stakeholders) in a project (Needs Analysis), such as Management, partners or customers, to record and describe clearly and completely the physical object of the project (Scope Management)
• Plan or realize practically and essentially the analytical structure of the project (Work Breakdown Structure) to ensure its completeness
• Analyze the project into tasks (Activities) and estimate the duration and resource requirements of each task (estimate Activities Duration and Cost)
• Design and/or monitor elementary schedules (Gantt charts and network diagrams) to monitor the project in terms of time
• Calculate and register where necessary the main project monitoring indicators (CPI, SPI, CV, SV) as well as the forecast indicators for the progress of the project (EAC, ETC, TCPI)
• Present the status and progress of the project to the stakeholders (supervisor, customers).
• Use basic human resource management tools in a project (task assignment, motivation, conflict management, etc.)
• Plan a negotiation and use a variety of persuasive techniques
