Organization – Τraining: Giorgos Kyriakidis MBA, MA, PMP, MCP
Program Duration: 16 hours
Every department, section, or working group is a living organism. As such, it has its own particularities, its own needs, its own culture and habits. It is completely natural for some of these habits to function at the expense of its performance and smooth operation. However, within the daily routine and intense rhythms of work, it is not easy to recognize these dysfunctions and improve them. Many employees, even if they do not mention it to others, believe:
- that there are individuals in the company, department, or working group with whom they cannot communicate,
- that “the others” do not truly listen to them when they need to ask for, propose, or complain about something,
- that it is almost impossible for them to express a different opinion without misunderstandings,
- that on a daily basis they need techniques to persuade difficult colleagues,
- that communication in meetings often leads nowhere and valuable working time is lost,
- that..
Low-level executives and frontline employees constantly receive orders, instructions, and demands from above, as well as needs and complaints from other colleagues. Every day in the arena of their work, they fight a real battle. They have to cooperate, show trust, participate in meetings (sometimes for updates and sometimes for problem-solving), manage conflicts, give feedback, organize their working time, draft reports, communicate with internal and external customers, and much more.
In this program, many of the issues that a company’s employees experience daily will be discussed through practical scenarios. The scenarios will be based on company data, adapted to its corporate culture.
The “tools” and practices proposed consist of recommendations from comprehensively integrated and internationally tested management and leadership models. Some of these are situational leadership model, DISC model, emotional intelligence, five levels of leadership, group dynamic model, etc.
